Back in early 2018, XXXTentacion professed how he hyped he was to have a dancehall-inspired record in the stash with Vybz Cartel. Now, X's estate has released "Royalty" on Friday (July 19) with additional features from British rapper Stefflon Don and Ky-Mani Marley.
The Florida native plays around with a Jamaican accent throughout his verse. X spoke about his Jamaican roots at times in the past. "Gyal, you're my Kingston/ How come everybody wanna hear me on this one?/ Man, what's cool is that the shit change/ When you use me for the money and the cars, yeah the big range," he raps.
The Los Angeles Times reports that "Royalty" will be part of the ? deluxe version, releasing next Friday (July 26). The reissue will include a double-disc package featuring new tracks, voice memos, and a couple remixes, as well as the original album's instrumentals and A Ghetto Christmas Carol EP.
