The Stellar Awards will premiere Friday at 9 p.m. ET on TV One.

Snoop Dogg made his foray into the gospel world earlier this month with the release his 16th studio album Bible Love, a 32-song collection inspirational tracks featuring a star-studded cast gospel music artists. In honor his new gospel album — and just in time for Easter — Snoop Dogg made his debut at the 2018 Stellar Awards to perform “Words Are Few.”

Performing on a dimly lit stage under a spotlight, Snoop performed solo before he was accompanied by the song's guest B-Slade, who appears a few times on the album.

During the awards ceremony, gospel duo Mary Mary (sisters Erica and Tina Campbell) reunited for the first time in more than six years. The Stellar Awards also included performances from Tori Kelly, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Kierra Sheard, J.J Hairston, Travis Greene and more.

The night was a major one for several artists, including J.J Hairston, who swept up six awards. Tasha Cobbs walked away with four as well as “Made a Way” singer Travis, who earned an award for producer the year, male vocalist the year, contemporary male vocalist the year, and artist the year.

The Stellar Awards will premiere on TV One on Friday at 9 p.m. ET, and rerun Easter Sunday at 6 p.m. ET.
