Post Malone went back in time for “Circles” video, and now we’re getting a deeper look.

On Friday (April 10), Malone released behind-the-scenes footage from the video for his Billboard Hot 100 hit, which was released in September 2019.

The swampy video finds the “Rockstar” artist getting his hands and feet while trekking through the woods, dressed up as a medieval knight. Whether he is walking alongside his horse performing inside a lagoon, or getting buried alive, it’s never a dull moment.

Malone is currently in a legal dispute with a California songwriter who is seeking co-writer and co-producer credits, and prospective and retroactive royalties and other money owed concerning his interest. Earlier this week, Malone responded with a complaint of his own and asked a New York judge to deny the songwriter’s claim to his Hot 100 chart-topper.

“It is an age-old story in the music business that when a song earns the type of runaway success that ‘Circles’ has garnered, and individuals will come out of the woodwork falsely claim to take credit for the song, and demand unwarranted and unearned windfall profits from the song,” reads the complaint.
