After recently dropping his debut project WWW — literally, from space — exciting hip-hop up-and-comer Towkio paid a visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night (Feb. 27) for a fired-up performance the album's “Symphony.”
The performance began with a calm Towkio, on stage rocking a large brown bubble coat and backed by a full band, as an uptempo percussion section kicked in. The budding Chicago musician proceeded to hop on the record at a frantic pace, quickly gaining speed in flow, until guest singer Teddy Jackson appeared on stage to cool things down with his elastic vocals on the chorus.
The Savemoney rapper has received heavy co-signs, with fellow Windy City native Kanye West and mogul/producer Rick Rubin among some the big names providing him a signal boost. Check out the performance below, and revisit Towkio's recent Billboard interview here.
