With his latest album set to drop on Friday (Mar. 2), Tory Lanez dropped by Sway in the Morning today with a clear agenda as the Toronto rapper sat in the guest's chair and delivered a breathtaking nine-minute freestyle.

Host Sway Calloway prepped listeners by heavily praising Lanez in his intro. “Tory Lanez, true MC. I want all y'all to get him on y'all platforms so he could spit this fire he's been spitting for us for years. I'm glad they all catching on now, that's why we had him up here, it's important to the game,” preached Sway.

Lanez clearly didn't plan to disappoint, as the “Shooters” rapper proceeded to drop a bevy blistering rhymes over hip-hop beats like Diddy's “It's All About The Benjamins” and Cam'ron's “Down and Out.” Sway couldn't contain his excitement, as the host looked visibly pleased throughout the session, occasionally throwing in ad-libs as a sign approval.

Lanez's Memories Don't Die is the first studio album from the MC since his 2016 effort I Told You that featured the club-smash “Luv” which topped the Billboard Mainstream R&B/Hip-Hop chart back in 2016 (charted dated Sept. 18). Lanez has appeared on a plethora feature tracks during the past year, however, also dropping his Chixtape project early in 2017.
