TLC could use a little TLC right now. The iconic R&B due was forced to cancel two shows after singer Chilli revealed that her doctor has ordered her to take some vocal rest. The impacted shows include a scheduled date on Sunday night (July 14) at the California State Fair in Sacramento — where they were replaced by funk bassist Eric "EQ" Young — as well as an upcoming one on Tuesday night (July 16) at the Stanislaus State Fair.

"It breaks my heart to tell our fans that we have to cancel our performance tonight at Sacramento because I lost my voice and my dr has me on strict voice rest," Chilli (born Rozanda Thomas) tweeted on Sunday. Bandmate T-Boz added, "Yes it breaks my heart too… And #Sacramento We'll Come There Again… I'm sure at some point."

Stanislaus State Fair marketing and communications director Adrenna Alkhas confirmed to CBS 13 in Sacramento that a medical issue had forced the group's cancelation at that event — where they will be replaced by En Vogue — adding, “We are very disappointed TLC cancelled, especially because the community was extremely excited for the show. We know this is always a possibility in our line of business. We are still very excited to have En Vogue replacing them. We wish Chilli from TLC a fast recovery from losing her voice.”

TLC are slated to join Nelly and Flo Rida on an upcoming co-headlining summer tour slated to kick off on July 23 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, at the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater.
