Comic e-book author Eymun Talasazan is reportedly suing The Weeknd for ripping off his “Starboy” idea. According to TMZ, Talasazan says he got here up with the Starboy character in 2015 and was engaged on making a “universe” that revolved across the character.

The swimsuit says Talasazan had conversations with The Weeknd’s workforce in 2017 about working collectively. The Toronto R&B singer had already launched a single of the identical title in 2016.

While the partnership didn’t work out, Talasazan was granted the Starboy trademark in 2017. So, when he noticed The Weeknd had debuted his personal Starboy comedian e-book with the assistance of Marvel Comics in June, Talasazan determined to take motion after he realized the storyline was practically equivalent to what he’d mentioned with The Weeknd’s workforce.

Talasazan is suing for copyright infringement.
