Summer Walker is here to provide the vibes for the summer.

On Monday (June 29), the Atlanta songstress announced her new Life On Earth EP will arrive on July 10. She accompanied the tweet with the album’s artwork, which shows off Walker’s silhouette as she stands atop her Mercedes G-Wagon.

The announcement comes just one month after Walker’s debut album Over It was officially certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Released seven months prior on October 4, GroovyTracks’s pick for 2019 R&B Album of the Year debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and beat Beyoncé’s Billboard record of the biggest streaming debut for a female R&B artist with 154.7 million on-demand streams.

The project features 6LACK, PARTYNEXTDOOR, Jhené Aiko, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Drake and Usher, who joined Walker on Sunday (June 28) to perform the duet on the 2020 BET Awards. “Come Thru” features a sample of Usher’s 2001 classic “U Make Me Wanna,” which Walker played during her performance before being joined by the legendary singer.

Trey Songz Reveals He Wanted To Sign Summer Walker — But Didn’t Have Her Info

Earlier this year, the 23-year-old Atlanta native announced she’d be stepping away from music after 2020.

“lol I’m deadass never making another song after 2020,” she wrote on one of her Instagram Stories.

It’s unclear whether Walker plans to make good on the promise, but fans can at least look forward to the new music on the way.
