Snoop will celebrate the 25th Anniversary ‘Doggystyle’ at the fest.
Snoop Dogg is returning to his hometown Long Beach, CA this summer and he's bringing along a phalanx west coast hip-hop heavyweights to take over the city for one night. For this year's Summertime In The LBC Festival, Snoop, Ice Cube, and The Game are set to headline the festival, along with a star-studded lineup hip-hop greats.
With Snoop Dogg's career-defining debut album Doggystyle turning 25 this year, the Doggfather will celebrate the milestone by performing the album at Summertime In The LBC. Doggystyle was released in November 1993 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Snoop's debut album spawned hits like “Gin and Juice” and “Who Am I? (What's My Name?)”
In addition to Snoop, Ice Cube, and The Game, 2000s dream-team Ja Rule and Ashanti will continue their joint tour with a performance at the festival, along with The Isley Brothers, Method Man, Redman, E-40, Too $hort, Warren G and The Dove Shack, who created the 1995 hit “Summertime In The LBC.”
Last year's festival included performances from 50 Cent and G-Unit, YG, Wu-Tang Clan, Warren G, Slick Rick and more. Tickets for the 2018 fest will be available for purchase here on Friday (May 11) at 10 a.m PDT.
