Though Rich the Kid has been on the scene for several years due to his mixtape releases, the 25-year-old burgeoning MC is ready to take the next step and release his debut album on March 30.

On Wednesday (Feb. 21), Rich made the announcement regarding his forthcoming endeavor on Twitter. “MY ALBUM IS DROPPING 3/30,” he succinctly revealed in a tweet.

During a recent interview with XXL, Rich said that Lil Wayne and Chris Brown are penciled in as features for his hotly anticipated album. “This will be the greatest album 2018,” he said to the hip-hop publication. “Best hip-hop album — you heard it here! There’s no other rapper that will drop a better album than me. No one.”

Since the release his blistering single “New Freezer” featuring Kendrick Lamar, the Interscope signee has been on a tear. Fans on social media have given “New Freezer” an extra lift in the streaming department with the New Freezer Challenge, a viral sensation currently sweeping through the Internet. On Wednesday, Rich received an additional boost when he was brought onstage to perform his fiery record with Kendrick Lamar at the 2018 Brit Awards.
