RCA Inspiration artist Koryn Hawthorne releases her sophomore album “I AM”  with the soul stirring lead single “ Won’t He Do It” which won her first Stellar Award.  The Louisiana native said “I Am,” is who God called me to be. I’m very big on purpose, very big on identity. With my first album ‘Unstoppable’ I was figuring out who I was as an artist. Now I’m more confident in who I am.”

The album is an audacious melding of R&B/Soul, Hip-Hop, Pop and Gospel genres that brings forth Koryn’s signature sound. ‘I AM is a smooth blend of grace and spirit with motivating missives throughout.

Tapping in with some of music biggest artist across various genres, Koryn has created powerful selections such as; “Joy” (which incorporates Mary J. Blige’s 1995 hit “You Bring Me Joy”), Peace” featuring fellow gospel star Jonathan McReynolds, the quiet yet commanding “How Great,” co-written by contemporary Christian music singer/songwriter Matt Maher and the riveting “Start From Scratch.”

Koryn is the recipient of several GRAMMY® nods, two-time Dove Award, Billboard Music, and NAACP Image Award winner. She has taken the industry by storm and continues to make an impact by moving the needle with her music.

Koryn hopes I Am “will affect people’s hearts with songs that are like prayers working in their lives. That’s why I’ll never get tired of singing.” She has the ability to affect positivity into so many peoples’ lives with her affirming music.
