New Found Glory treated fans with special insights on the pop-punkers’ latest album Forever + Ever x Infinity from last Friday (June 19) during Billboard‘s Twitter Q&A session today (June 25).

The band answered fans’ questions related to all things music, from which dead or alive act they’d love to collaborate with to their top three albums of all time. But lead vocalist Jordan Pundik spoke up about his favorite song on their tenth studio album.

“‘Same Side Sitters,'” Pundik replied in a video message. “I’m really enjoying that song, I love the way it came out, I love when the chorus hits. It just reminds me of those old school… vibes, cruising around the van, windows down, driving to some Elks Lodge in New Jersey.”

But the neon-colored Ferris wheel shot used as the album artwork evokes a different kind of memory for Pundik. “It comes from the nostalgia definitely. It just reminded us of like an old Promise Ring cover or like a Lifetime cover or something like that. But also because it’s such a fun record, we wanted to sort of encompass that with all the colors and being on a Ferris wheel or being on a roller coaster,” the 40-year-old artist explained. “One of my first dates was taking my now-wife to an amusement park, so that’s kind of where it all ties together.”
