The rumor mill went into overdrive last week as reports Logic's split from his wife, Jessica Andrea, circulated. Logic remained mum on his alleged split until Tuesday (March 20), when the rapper penned a brief message to his loyal fans confirming the split and sharing it across his socials.
“After two years marriage, we have come to the loving conclusion that we are much better as friends,” he wrote in the letter and asked that the public respect their privacy.
He then took a moment to address any rumors that suggested cheating or anger may have caused the split and assured fans the breakup was amicable. “It’s very simple: it just didn’t work out. There is no anger involved,” he added. “No fighting, no cheating, no nothing. We love each other and will continue to support each other for the rest our lives.” He wrapped up the statement by telling his fans “Don't be sad” and insisted there won't be any “displays anger or hatred that tear people apart.”
“There are no sides, there is just us. Two people who loved each other in marriage and will continue to love each other for the rest our lives,” he wrote, ending the statement with a smiley face.
After posting the message, Andrea responded to her husband, proving that there isn't any bad blood between the two. “I love you Bobby … and love to all the fans!” she wrote, which was followed up by Logic's response, “I love you Jess! You’re my best friend.”
On a happier note, Logic's latest mixtape Bobby Tarantino II debuted atop the Billboard 200, his second No. 1 album following 2017's Everybody. Come June, Logic will head on tour with NF and Kyle for The Bobby Tarantino vs. Everybody Tour.
