‘In this classroom you’ll never catch us fighting.’

A Northern California teacher made a new, G-rated version of "Truth Hurts" to help her second grade students learn about being great and nice to each other. Spoiler alert: Lizzo loved it.

"This IS the best thing I've watched today," the rapper/flutist wrote when Bay Area news anchor Raj Mathai posted the footage of second grade teacher Dorothy Mallari leading her students at Los Medanos Elementary School in Pittsburgh, California, in their safe-for-school version of the tune on Wednesday.

"Let's be great, cuz I know we are great/ I just took an ELA test, turns out I'm 100% that smart," Mallari sings to the kids as she dances on top of desks enthusiastically. "Even when I'm feeling lazy/ Yeah, I got math problems that's the student in me/ Buzz, buzz then I solve them, that's the worker (bee) in me."

Mallari, 32, told Fox affiliate KTVU that she chose to rewrite the song for her students because she liked the beat and it fit in with her lesson plan of finding a track each year to reflect what's going on in the classroom and what her kids are into. "We were talking about flexible seating and classroom culture," Mallari said; in previous years Mallari has used Drake and Imagine Dragons song to inspire students to learn the class rules during their signature morning song.
