Juicy J kicked f the autumn by unleashing the Buddah Bless-produced single "Neighbor," that includes a cameo from Travis Scott. Less than two months later (Nov. 14), the "No English" collaborators returned with a goth-inspired visible for the tune.
The darkish clip is helmed by RJ Sanchez, who has labored intently with Lil Uzi Vert and Nav up to now. La Flame and the Taylor Gang artist change rhymes as chains cling from the ceiling and a torrential downpour dampens the grim set. Both artists are laced in blacked-out apparel to correctly accompany the unwelcoming tone.
During a latest interview with Billboard, Juicy J detailed the origin "Neighbor." "Travis known as me up and reached out about listening to some new beats when he was engaged on Astroworld. We vibed out within the studio," he defined. "On my approach out, after we had been within the studio for 3 hours, I used to be like, 'Yo, Travis, let me get a report for my new album.' He went into his recordsdata and pulled up 'Neighbor.'"
"It was like an extended verse, however I believed it was onerous as fuck. I advised him to play it once more. The beat was already carried out and he had every thing on there," the Memphis native added. "It didn't actually have a format to it initially. When I obtained to the studio the following day, I took the monitor and chopped it up."
