Los Angeles, CA – Juice WRLD‘s never-before-seen freestyling episode on the Beats 1 show, “Fire in the Booth,” has been released. Initially recorded back in February and clocking in at an impressive 14 minutes, the clip is yet another testament to the late rapper’s freestyling abilities.
“With the sad passing of Juice WRLD, we wanted to share this with his fans,” a message pre-empting the video reads. “We believe Juice WRLD’s Fire in the Booth was one of the greatest freestyles ever.”
Charlie Sloth, the “Fire in the Booth” host, repeated the sentiment in an Instagram post, where he called the Juice “the greatest freestyler I ever met.”
Among his off-the-dome bars, which formed four complete songs, Juice name-drops Meek Mill and Drake, raps about buying his mom a car and aspires to Ellen Degeneres-level money.
“On these words, I’m intricate/But when I speak to ‘em, I’m a little illiterate/I’m ballin’ on these hoes, best believe I’ma get it/I’ma get that rich money, like I’m Ellen DeGeneres,” he spits.
Around the seven-minute mark, Juice even requests that Charlie throw out words for him to work into his rhymes. Charlie interjects with words ranging from “London” to “Cardi B,” which Juice incorporates into his flow.
Besides his rock-tinged emo-rap, Juice was also known for his freestyling talent, with Young Thug even deeming him the best “in the world” earlier this year.
Juice passed away earlier this month after suffering a seizure at the Chicago Midway Airport. According to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office, more tests are necessary before the cause of his death can be confirmed.
Prior to his seizure, the 21-year-old swallowed several Percocet pills, reportedly in an effort to hide them from federal authorities while they searched his plane.
