With the Wu-Tang Clan's anticipated Of Mics and Men on the horizon (May 10), Showtime has started to tease clips from the upcoming four-part documentary. Billboard is premiering one scene Wednesday (May 1), in which film director Jim Jarmusch recalls a time that RZA and Ol' Dirty Bastard showed up to an editing session high on mushrooms.

"When we were editing Ghost Dog, RZA and Dirty came to the editing room to spend the afternoon there. They were extremely high on mushrooms. They had those Perun hats with the flaps and goggles on. Dirty would freak out after every few minutes," he remembers. "At one point, he freaked out and said, 'Stop, stop, the shit.' And RZA said, ‘What is it, Dirt?’ Dirty said, 'Earth, Mars, Venus, RZA, pick one.' And then RZA said, 'I pick Earth.'"

Jarmusch adds that this would continue for hours, before everything ended with the two jumping up and down and chanting something. "There's something I love some much about Ol' Dirty Bastard. The humor and kind of wildness. It's another way of celebrating your consciousness and physical being in this strange world," the Broken Flowers director says.

RZA will also star in Jarmusch's 2019 zombie film, The Dead Don't Die, which will also include Selena Gomez, Iggy Pop, Childish Gambino, Tom Waits, Bill Murray, and more in the cast.

Watch the clip below. Tune in May 10 at 9 p.m. EST to catch the documentary in full on Showtime.
