After a 15-year hiatus that felt much more like an eternity, the queen all things smooth Sade has returned with a song for the Wrinkle in Time soundtrack. Famed producer No I.D. joined director Ava DuVernay in dropping “Flower the Universe” Monday night (March 5) on Twitter, and it has been understandable madness since.

In late February, DuVernay originally revealed that soul goddess Sade had agreed to hop on the soundtrack, tweeting “I never thought she’d say yes, but asked anyway. She was kind + giving. A goddess. We began a journey together that I’ll never forget. Proud to announce that Sade has created an original song for WRINKLE IN TIME. It’s entitled 'Flower the Universe.' And it’s a dream come true.”

Last night, she tweeted again, saying, “You are a queen and a visionary and we love you,” with a link to the new modern and silky Sade cut. And course, fans and musicians alike, collectively lost it.

Check out the excited reactions below.
