DJ Khaled didn’t take any risks during his first outing in three-and-a-half months amid the coronavirus pandemic.

On Friday (June 19), the Miami-based producer several shared photos of himself wearing a full hazmat suit to a dentist appointment for a root canal.

“I’m on my way to the doctor’s office. There’s still a pandemic out here, so I ain’t playing no games. I’m going to be safe,” Khaled said in a video of himself dressing for the appointment.

The 44-year-old producer pointed out that the appointment was to address excruciating pain he’s experienced over the past 15 years from a root canal.

“I can’t take it no more,” he said. “It broke, so I’m going to a special dental surgeon to have them take the rest of the tooth out. I refuse to accept this pain I’ve been having for 15 years.”

Khaled’s 20.4 million IG followers also got a behind-the-scenes look at the surgery itself as doctors operated on his tooth. The producer calmed himself beforehand by FaceTiming with his family and playing some music on his phone.

“I want to thank The office BLUM-Nico Oral Surgery Associates Dr.Nico and team who was excellent! Taking out the root canal very grateful for your help,” he wrote.
