Los Angeles, CA – Netflix is throwing its hat into the festival circuit ring.

The streaming giant has announced the Netflix Is A Joke Fest, a week-long comedy festival held across multiple venues in Los Angeles. Comedy stars such as Dave Chappelle, Jamie Foxx, Kevin Hart and Martin Lawrence will perform at the festivities, which include more than 100 live shows.

“It’s our honor to transform LA for one week into the funniest place on earth,” Netflix’s Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos said in a press release. “This festival is a unique celebration of the art of comedy, and the role it plays in reflecting our lives and defining culture. It’s a chance for comedy lovers to come together and see their favorite artists as well as discover new ones, and for us to be able to share the electricity and excitement of the festival in Los Angeles with Netflix members around the world.”

Other notable comedians booked for the festival include David Letterman, Wanda Sykes, Bill Burr and Lily Tomlin.

Chappelle, Hart, Sykes, Chris Rock, Billy Crystal, Whoopi Goldberg, Jerry Seinfeld and Sarah Silverman will also participate in The Hall: Honoring the Greats of Stand-Up ceremony, which is celebrating comedy legends George Carlin, Richard Pryor, Joan Rivers and Robin Williams.

Netflix Is A Joke Fest is scheduled to begin on April 27 and conclude on May 3. Tickets for the various shows are on sale now.
