Fans have kept their eyes peeled for any clues into Danny Brown's follow-up to 2016's Exhibition Atrocity. In a feature cover story in Highsnobiety released on Tuesday (April 30), the Detroit native expanded on his new VICELAND show and his anticipated fifth studio LP, U Know What I’m Sayin?, which will e executive produced by Q-Tip.
"After a trilogy of records that rank among the decade’s most critically acclaimed rap releases, Danny Brown has both nothing and everything to prove,” the story's first page reads. "Returning to the public eye with a Viceland show and his fifth studio album, the Q-Tip produced U Know What I’m Sayin?, he is presenting a new version of himself: Danny Brown, serious craftsman and burgeoning elder statesman of rap."
Brown also confirmed that there will be other producers on the album, including frequent collaborator Paul White. "Paul still has production on the album," Danny wrote in response to a fan who believed the project was solely produced by the Tribe co-founder.
