Lifetime’s Surviving R. Kelly docu-series continues to spark controversy throughout social media platforms and past. Chance The Rapper discovered himself enveloped within the debate after his phase aired within the collection’ finale.

After catching flak for his feedback on Twitter, Chance clarified his statements and provided an apology to anybody affected by Kelly’s actions. He says his quote, “I didn’t worth the accusers’ tales as a result of they have been black ladies. I made a mistake” was “taken out of context.”
“The quote was taken out of context, however the reality is any of us who ever ignored R Kelly tales, or ever imagine he was being setup/attacked by the system (as black males usually are) have been doing so on the detriment of again ladies and ladies,” he wrote in a Twitter publish. “I apologize to all of his survivors for working with him and for taking this lengthy to talk out.”
