With Beyoncé and Jay-Z as parents, Blue Ivy is bound to be a superstar.
Boasting two of the biggest names in music as her parents, Beyoncé and JAY-Z’s oldest child Blue Ivy was destined to be a star before she was even born. Now at just seven years old, the adorable heir to the Carters' reign already has a number of features to her name, and a burgeoning career as an eventual pop powerhouse.
Billboard has pulled together some of the youngster’s best star-making moments.
JAY-Z feat. B.I.C., "Glory"
Just two days after Blue Ivy was born on January 7, 2012, JAY-Z released “Glory,” a sweet single in dedication to his daughter and wife. Towards the end of the track, samples of Blue Ivy’s coos and cries can be heard — enough to earn her a featured appearance on the track as "B.I.C.," eventually making her the youngest artist ever to hit a Billboard chart. Basically, within just hours of her life, she was already gearing up for a lifetime of killer tracks.

At the 2014 MTV Music Video Awards, Beyoncé won the coveted Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award and accepted it from her husband and Blue Ivy. As Beyoncé approached the two crying, Blue clapped for her and said, “Good job, Mommy,” into the microphone. To present an award of such high caliber is a pretty big deal for a tot, and with her early career traction, perhaps one day she’ll be the one receiving it.
Beyoncé, “Blue” feat. Blue Ivy
The Beyoncé album track “Blue” was written with Bey’s daughter in mind, and even features her voice and laugh at the end of the song. Blue also made a heartwarming appearance in the music video, the first of more videos to come.
Beyoncé, “Formation" (Video)

Walking the Red Carpet at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards

Blue Ivy’s Halloween 2016 costumes
The Carter family goes big for Halloween, and their 2016 costumes proved just how cool of a kid Blue has got to be. For one night of celebrations, Blue, Mom, and Grandma honored Salt-N-Pepa in classic '90s outfits, and another night it was a Matel family affair, as Bey and Jay went as Barbie and Ken, while Blue Ivy rocked an '80s punk Barbie getup. It's safe to say that Blue knows how to serve looks.
Sitting Courtside at the 2017 NBA All-Star Game
The NBA All-Star Game is always full of incredible basketball highlights, but as Blue Ivy sat court side between her A-list parents at the 2017 game, she made it clear that she was the real show stopper. Though Blue looked uninterested in the game at play, she caught nearly everyone’s attention with her cute antics of watching herself on the Jumbotron and playing with the Milwaukee Bucks' mascot Bango — and that’s some real star power.

JAY-Z – “Blue’s Freestyle/We Family” (featuring Blue Ivy)
Though Blue has been featured on her parents’ music before, she made her true rap debut on one of JAY-Z’s 4:44 bonus tracks. On “Blue’s Freestyle/We Family” the five year old shows off her genuine talent, as she spits a few verses letting the world know that she’s “never seen a ceiling in my whole life,” and that everything is at her fingertips. With a freestyle debut in her elementary years, it feels as if Blue Ivy is on the cusp of just about everything.
