Still suffering from the Monday blues? Well, leave it to Anderson .Paak to melt it all away with his delightful performance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. The singer stopped by the show on April 29 for a performance of his latest single and Ventura highlight "Make It Better."
"Make It Better" is officially a collaboration with Smokey Robinson, but .Paak held his own without the R&B legend. The singer, who was rocking his signature bug-eye sunglasses, was all smiles as he sung the soulful track alongside a small orchestra.
After having both the audience and Ellen DeGeneres in a groove, he later gifted the talk-show host with a basket filled with merchandise. One of the gifts included a yellow du-rag, which of course .Paak placed on her head.
The singer has been on a high since the release of fourth album Ventura, which dropped on April 12. The record made its debut at No. 2 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop albums chart, earning 55,000 equivalent album units in the week ending April 18, according to Nielsen Music. .Paak also performed at Coachella, where he tributed late friends Nipsey Hussle and Mac Miller during his funky set. The singer recently appeared onstage at Pharrell's inagural Something in the Water festival on April 28.
