Just over four years removed from delivering her Blank Project, Neneh Cherry has returned with a new single.

"Kong" finds Cherry teaming up once more with recurring collaborators Four Tet and Massive Attack's Robert "3D" Del Naja, who co-produced the track.

Over the duo's meditative, dub-leaning production, Cherry sings of colonial history and Europe's ongoing refugee crisis to create a protest song "that uses empathy and compassion as its tools of disobedience."

"Kong" comes accompanied by a video directed by Jenn Nkiru, who also recently worked on Beyoncé and JAY-Z's video for "APESHIT," in addition to visual work for Kamasi Washington's recent Heaven and Earth LP.

You can watch the clip below, where you'll also find a trio of upcoming live dates.

Tour dates:

09/06 Stockholm, Sweden - Tradgarden
09/12 London, UK - Village Underground
09/26 Paris, France - Le Cafe de la Danse
