After causing shockwaves with his "Stay Woke" performance at the BET Awards last month, Meek Mill appears ready to go full-throttle with his comeback. On Thursday afternoon (July 5), Meek caused a frenzy on social media when he posted two song snippets on Instagram. The first snippet finds Swizz Beatz setting the table for Meek with his electric ad-libs. Without any hesitation, Meek pounces on the track with vigor, gnawing away at the trap-infused record. "Fuck 12 and the cops, they wanna see my in the cage/ I run the city in a Wraith, motivation on the 'Gram, I'm going live on these bitches onstage," raps Meek. For Meek, this snippet is a stark contrast from his previous record "Stay Woke," which zeroed in on mass incarceration and police brutality. Later, Meek tantalized his fans once more when he posted another snippet, but with Jeremih and PnB Rock. Produced by Hitmaka, the snippet contains a slivery hook, where Jeremih and Rock take turns satisfying their respective lovers. If Meek does indeed have a project on the way, this will serve as his first release since his 2017 album Wins and Losses, which dropped last July.
