Ab-Soul has always voiced his frustration about being stuck on TDE’s shelf. The label’s way of releasing material doesn’t come as quickly as fans (and Soul) would like. But last night TDE boss Top Dawg at least updated the status of Soul’s next album.
In a post on Instagram, Top says the album is entering mixing and sample clearing stages. However, it could be at least a few months wait. Schoolboy Q’s fourth album just got turned in and is awaiting a date. This is on top of releases from SZA and Isaiah Rashad that TDE said were coming this year.
